Karwar: Uttara Kannada district administration has spent Rs. 10.93 crore under the natural calamity fund from April 1 to November 2. In a press release issued here on Friday, the Deputy Commissioner said Rs. 27. 32 lakh was spent on essential commodities, Rs. 10.4 lakh on boats and rescue operations, Rs. 14.70 lakh was given as compensation for crop loss and Rs. 141.85 lakh as compensation for loss of houses.
