Students from Classes five to 10 can take part in competitions MANALORE: The exciting The Hindu Young World Fest is round the corner. The fest, organised in association with Corporation Bank, will be held on November 16 and 17 at the Town Hall here for students from classes five to 10. The competitions include group dance in classical, folk and western categories; flower arrangement; debate, cartooning and rangoli. Dance troupes should consist of six members each while teams vying for honours in flower arrangement, debate and rangoli should have two members each. Each team of dancers and debaters will be given seven minutes to showcase their talent. Those participating in the flower arrangement competition will get 90 minutes; time allowed for cartooning will be one hour. There will be a preliminary round of competitions on November 16 and the winners of that round will take part in the finals on November 17. Eminent judges will assess the talent of competitors.
