BJP will be the deciding factor, says Javadekar

HYDERABAD: BJP national spokesperson and MP Prakash Javadekar has expressed confidence that the party would put up a good show in the ensuing GHMC elections.

Addressing a press conference here, he predicted that the elections would produce a different result from what was witnessed in Assembly and Lok Sabha polls.

The Congress was a divided house and major churning was in store for Praja Rajyam and Telangana Rashtra Samithi. BJP would expose the “unholy alliance” between the Congress and Majlis as a tacit understanding was continuing between the two parties.

The party would win a sizable number of divisions and would be in a position to decide the fate of the corporation. The BJP leaders’ campaign would focus on security, development and price rise. Criticising the UPA government for failing miserably to control rising prices of essential commodities and vegetables, he said price rise was “man-made and government-manufactured”.

BJP Greater Hyderabad president Ch.Ramachandra Reddy released the names of 13 more candidates, taking the total number to 135 till Friday.
