‘Seeghra darshan’ wins accolades

TIRUMALA: There was an overwhelming response to the newly-introduced ‘Seeghra darshan’ system from the devotees spread all across the State. Almost all the devotees who participated in ‘Dial TTD E.O.’ programme on Friday heaped praises on the TTD management. They thanked the TTD for the innovative darshan system which they termed was a ‘catalyst’ in mitigating the difficulties of the visiting devotees.

Participating in the programme, Venkatesh Murthy of Bangalore suggested the management to initiate steps such as formation of exclusive darshan queue line to avoid possible stampede as the system was catching up well withdevotees. In reply to a question, TTD EO IYR Krishna Rao who anchored the programme said that several Ministers who visited Tirumala, during the weekend also had their darshan through ‘Seeghra darshan,’ with the abolition of VIP ‘break-darshan’ facililty during weekends.
