16 IAS officers to retire next year

HYDERABAD: As many as 16 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers belonging to the State cadre will retire from service next year on attaining the age of superannuation.

They are: P.V. Bhide, R.S.Goel, D.K.Panwar, M.Veerabhadraiah, Priyadarshi Dash, H.S. Brahma, P. Sundara Kumar, R. Subba Rao, G. Ramnarayana Reddy, Ashok Kumar Goel, Birsingh Parsheera, K. Sujatha Rao, Rachel Chatterjee, Ashok Kumar Tigdi, M.V.P.C.Shastry and Jannat Hussain.

Meanwhile, Manmohan Singh, Secretary, Infrastructure & Investment, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Fisheries. B. Sam Bob, Principal Secretary, Industries, will take care of the subjects hitherto handled by Mr. Singh.
