Recruitment drive for traffic wardens

Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Police Traffic Wardens’ Organisation, Coimbatore City Unit is holding a recruitment drive on November 28 at CSI Girls Higher Secondary School, Uppilipalayam.

A release from the Chief Traffic Warden, A. Mahesh, said that socially conscious individuals could come forward to join the Traffic Wardens Organisation which is purely a voluntary and honorary posting with no remuneration.

The candidates should not have any criminal antecedents and any political affiliation. Coimbatore City has a sanctioned strength of 200 traffic wardens and at present there are only 28 traffic wardens in enrolment and 172 vacancies are to be filled up.
