Port talks inconclusive

The tripartite talks initiated by the Labour Department to end the strike by Cargo Handling Division workers of Visakhapatnam Port Trust remained inconclusive on Thursday.

With the management and the unions failing to come to an understanding on manning scales, the stalemate still continued. A port spokesman said talks would continue on Friday.
