Freedom from fear

Birds, how joyfully in the sky, they stay,
Oh Lord, why can't it be my way?
Ants, without fear, they are here and there,
But me with all fear, everywhere.
Squirrels, little ones, joyfully they eat,
Never can I, even if it is sweet or meat.
Fish, big or small, how freely they swim,
I can never be near water at its brim.
Oh Lord, let the fear flee from me,
I need full freedom and joy in Thee.

N. S. SHEELA EMERALD, XI, Cuddalore.
