Fabulous fables

On October 17, 2001, the Department of Posts issued a set of four stamps depicting four Panchatantra stories. Each stamp has two single pieces divided by perforation (Setenant) and each piece is valued at Rs. 4.

The stories depicted are "The stupid lion and a crafty rabbit", "The foolish tortoise and two geese", "Two wise crows and the snake", and "The clever monkey and the crocodile".
