Travelling menace

"Jaws" hung around Martha's Vineyard. But the great whites actually prefer to roam. Four great whites were tagged electronically off the coast of northern California two years ago. Scientists expected them to head for a feeding coast nearby but instead these sharks were tracked to Hawaii 2,500 miles away.

Since the sharks move at a slow two miles per hour, the journey took months. Why did the sharks make the trip? The scientists can't figure out why but plan to do more tagging to find out where marine predators go and what they do along the way.
